My 1/100 Master Grade of the AGE 1 Normal arrived Monday night from Hobby Link Japan. Here’s some crappy Cellphone pics.

Overall, a fantastic build from Bandai. It’s fascinating seeing the complexity of engineering that goes into the design of these kits, and how year by year, Bandai continues to find new ways to combine intricate detail and articulation, while remaining faithful to the designs of these Mobile Suits.

Into the Breach: MSG Novels

After a few missed opportunities, a near eternal wait for a new release, and a Evening trip through Camden, NJ. I finally have a copy of the novelization of Mobile Suit Gundam, as written by the Bald Wizard himself!

Gundam Franchise to Launch Clothing Line

Bandai will launch an official clothing line based off in-universe clothing designs of the meta franchise, titled Strict-G, in specialty boutiques in Tokyo and Fukuoka starting this month.

Eh, I’d rather prefer to have quality R1 releases of Gundam shows, and not have to shell out $80 per 2 episode volume.
So, Pass.

- Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie – A Wakening of the Trailblazer - will be available this Summer on DVD and Bluray.
- Bandai has acquired the distribution rights for Star Driver. No info on releases at this time.
- The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya will be will be available this Summer on DVD and Bluray.
