If anyone needed any more proof that a new Star Wars film is in pre-production, here it is: Michael Arndt, who has screenwriting credentials with the films Little Miss Sunshine and Toy Story 3, has begun story conferences with George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy for Star Wars Episode VII, due for release in 2015.
Arndt has screenwriting credits in the upcoming films The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Oblivion, both 2013 releases.

Opening Sequence included
The OP animates several scenes from the original manga, using a lot of cell shading to give it an animated, quasi 3D look and feel.
However, it gives the characters a feel that’s kind of “Uncanny Valley”-ish.

Artwork seemed a tad too angular, especially when compared to the previous episode and the next. I guess that is to be expected, since this is the first episode with the regular character designs.
