Beaming up Crappy Movie Merchandise Tie-In’s

The strangest advertisment that DOESN’T feature the product being sold.
Take Note:
1), James Doohan is flippant as hell. He could care less about being in character, as long as he’s getting paid.
2), Shatner is hamming it up more than usual.
3). Look at the POWER MULLET that Shatner has. Party in the back indeed.

The Star Trek franchise seems to be a magnet for bad advertising and marketing.

Taco Bell ad from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984)

I love how spoilerifc these cups were, with captions like “SPOCK LIVES!” and “FATE OF THE ENTERPRISE'” and a picture of the ship blowing up. I woul’dve hated to be the guy in 1984, who had the plot spoiled, all because he wanted a burrito and a coke.

Waaait, they made a Fal-Tor-Pan  cup?!!

What is Bahamut Six?

Bahamut Six is a blog with a slant towards anime (Mecha anime, to be exact) and music, western TV, movies and other assorted crap that I find interesting.
