G.I. Joe R.o.C: Real American Zeroes

So I saw the new G.I. Joe flick last night. While my expectations were low, I was stoked that the heroes were going to use powered suits.  Unfortuantly, that was the only expectation met.

If I were grading this movie on the visuals and SFX alone, I’d give it 3 1/2 out of 5, as some of the suquences were slick and striking (The Paris chase scene, Ripcord trying to stop the warheads).

However, this movie had probably one of the dumbest scripts I’ve come across. It seemed like the entire world was one big idiot ball.

But the worst travesty, was the emo-fication of Cobra Commander, StormShadow and the Baroness, (even if some of the material for her taken from the Marvel Comics).

More later in a review.
